Step 1

In a bowl, mix together the egg, flour, chicken broth and salt and pepper to taste until smooth. The mixture should resemble a thick pancake batter. If it is too thick, add in some more chicken broth. If it is too thin, add in additional flour.

Step 2

Heat a few inches of oil in a skillet over medium high heat on the stove until the temperature reaches 350 degrees.

Step 3

Dip the pickle slices into the batter, and then place into the heated oil. Cook for 3-5 minutes evenly on both sides until golden brown.

Step 4

Drain on a paper towel lined plate and then serve.
