My Best-Ever Vanilla Mug Cake recipe is the epitome of mug cakes — classic vanilla flavor, loads of sprinkles, and made entirely in less than 5 minutes.

Gemma's Best-Ever Vanilla Mug Cake

(1 ¼ oz/35 g) all-purpose flour

sugar

baking powder

(2 fl oz/60 ml) milk ((or dairy-free milk))

vegetable oil ((sunflower or coconut oil))

vanilla extract

Funfetti sprinkles

In a microwavable mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.

Add in the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until just combined. Stir in the sprinkles.

Microwave for roughly 45 seconds - 1 minute, or until firm to the touch (timing is based on my microwave which is 1200 Watts so your timing may vary).

Serve warm with frosting, ice cream or cream. Enjoy!

I needed a small batch of cupcakes today for my daughter. I made this, but poured the batter into 4 silicone cupcake liners placed  on a microwave safe plate. Worked like a charm! In my microwave it took 1:30

mine turned out ok but i used a 8 once mug and didn't even go halfway so the second time i tryed i did a double and turned out perfectly

So light and fluffy. It is delicious and taste like birthday cake!

Is there a way to add egg without ruining the recipe? Pretty tasty either way!!!
