Vanilla Mug Cake

unsalted butter

milk

vanilla extract

sugar

all-purpose flour

baking powder

salt

Place butter in a large mug and microwave 30 to 40 seconds until melted. Allow to cool 2 to 3 minutes.

Quickly whisk in the milk, vanilla extract, and sugar, mixing well (if the butter begins to solidify, microwave it for 30-45 seconds to warm the milk).&nbsp;Whisk in the flour, baking powder, and salt until combined. Stir in the sprinkles.

Microwave for 80 to 90 seconds. The top should look set but slightly wet when done.&nbsp;Cool a few minutes before enjoying.

Combine all the ingredients in a microwave-safe mug. Use a fork or whisk to ensure no lumps.Pro-tip - The cake does rise so make so the batter is only about half the cup. You can also divide the batter between two smaller cups.

Bake in the microwave for 1.5 minutes or 90 seconds on high. The cake will rise and settle a bit after it finishes baking (mine took 1 1/2 minute).Pro-tip - The cake is done when you prick with a skewer and feel no raw batter inside.

Let cool for 5 minutes. Then, top with whipped cream and chopped strawberry.Pro-tip - If the cake is still hot the whipped cream will melt. Alternatively, you can serve the whipped cream on the side.

Vanilla Mug Cake Microwave

A delicious perfectly fudgey, moist and easy cookie dough vanilla mug cake that is perfect for when the craving strikes! This protein vanilla mug cake is literally made in seconds, and is the perfect sweet treat for any vanilla cake lover! High in protein and fiber, this is the ultimate healthy mug cake recipe. 

Protein Cookie Dough Vanilla Mug Cake

vanilla pea protein powder ((30 grams))

oat flour

½ tsp baking powder

tsp chocolate chips

Grease a microwave safe bowl or mug of choice with some oil spray. Add all ingredients above and combine well. You will have to adjust the almond milk according to your protein powder brand. You&#039;re looking for a slightly runnier texture.

Microwave for 1-2 minutes in 30 second intervals. Middle should still be a little gooey.

Bake in oven at 180 degrees celsius for 12-15 minutes. Middle should still be gooey

Whip up an easy batter in a mug, pop it in the microwave, and enjoy a glorious single-serve dessert in minutes.

Vanilla Mug Cake Recipe

flour

room-temperature seltzer or sparkling water

kosher salt

Place the 2 tablespoons unsalted butter for the frosting in a small bowl and let sit at room temperature until softened.

Place the 2 tablespoons unsalted butter for the cake in an 8-ounce or larger microwave-safe mug. Microwave until melted, 20 to 35 seconds.

Add 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and whisk with a fork to combine. Add 1/4 cup self-rising flour and mix just until you barely see any more flour. Add 3 tablespoons seltzer and stir until the batter is smooth.

Microwave until the mug cake has risen and is firm and springy on top, 2 minutes 10 seconds to 2 minutes 50 seconds. Let cool while you make the frosting.

Add 2 tablespoons of the powdered sugar, 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of kosher salt to the bowl of softened butter and stir to combine. Taste and add more powdered sugar as needed. Spoon the frosting on top of the mug cake.

This vegan vanilla mug cake is fluffy, moist and rich and made in 90 seconds in the microwave! The easiest and most delicious single-serving cake recipe ever.

Vegan Vanilla Mug Cake

Tablespoons All Purpose Flour

Tablespoons White Granulated Sugar

Baking Powder

Tablespoons Soy Milk (or other non-dairy milk)

Tablespoons Canola Oil (or Vegetable Oil)

Vanilla Extract

Vegan Whipped Cream

Sprinkles

Add all purpose flour, white granulated sugar, baking powder and salt to a mug and mix together.

Add soy milk, canola oil and vanilla extract and mix into a batter. Don&#39;t overmix, but make sure you have scraped the sides and bottom of the mug so that everything is incorporated.

Place into the microwave and microwave on high for 90 seconds. The top should look set and done and the edges should have pulled away from the sides.

Let it cool before topping with sprinkles and vegan whipped cream (optional).

Vegan Vanilla Mug Cake Recipe

gluten-free oat flour

Tablespoons plant-based protein powder (see notes)

Tablespoons sugar

neutral oil coconut oil

vinegar or apple cider vinegar

Optional Add-ins: vegan chocolate chips, peanut butter baking chips, berries

Optional Toppings: sprinkles, coconut whip, coconut yogurt, etc

In a small bowl whisk together the oat flour (and protein powder if using), sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.

Pour the oil, vinegar, and vanilla in three different spots on top of the dry mix. (see video in post)

Pour milk over the top and gently stir.If desired, mix in any add-ins.

Pour the batter into a greased tall/deep mug or 8-ounce ramekin. (If adding plant-based protein powder, the batter will be thicker. If needed, use the back of a spoon to gently press the mixture down into the mug. 

Microwave on HIGH in 3 intervals of 30 seconds each time, check to see if the cake is firm. The top should be firm to the touch once cooked. If not, cook for 15-20 seconds longer (the total time depends on microwave power). Remove from the microwave and let it cool a minute.

Top mug cake with optional toppings and dig in with a spoon or, if desired, flip over onto a plate and add toppings.

This is the most broken recipe I've ever seen. There's missing information in the ingredients and the instructions contradict each other. I tried my best with the information provided and the dough was clearly dry, so I doubled the milk and it still came out as literal crumbs. Please fix this recipe.

Was an awful blob, did not rise. Gooey spongy mess

Gemma's Best-Ever Vanilla Mug Cake

(1 ¼ oz/35 g) all-purpose flour

(2 fl oz/60 ml) milk ((or dairy-free milk))

vegetable oil ((sunflower or coconut oil))

Funfetti sprinkles

In a microwavable mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.

Add in the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until just combined. Stir in the sprinkles.

Microwave for roughly 45 seconds - 1 minute, or until firm to the touch (timing is based on my microwave which is 1200 Watts so your timing may vary).

Serve warm with frosting, ice cream or cream. Enjoy!

I needed a small batch of cupcakes today for my daughter. I made this, but poured the batter into 4 silicone cupcake liners placed  on a microwave safe plate. Worked like a charm! In my microwave it took 1:30

mine turned out ok but i used a 8 once mug and didn't even go halfway so the second time i tryed i did a double and turned out perfectly

So light and fluffy. It is delicious and taste like birthday cake!

Is there a way to add egg without ruining the recipe? Pretty tasty either way!!!
