Step 1
Sift flour, salt, ginger and cinnamon into a bowl.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale.
Step 3
Melt butter and golden syrup, and cool slightly, then add to the egg mixture.
Step 4
Fold in the dry ingredients, and then stir in the yoghurt and sultanas until well combined.
Step 5
Spoon mixture into a greased 22cm loaf pan.
Step 6
Bake at 180C for 45-50 minutes.
Step 7
Leave in tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
