Step 1
Combine the water, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla bean in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
Step 2
Add the chai spice mix and continue simmering for another 8 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the vanilla bean pods and strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer.
Step 4
Fill into clean glass bottles, let them cool completely and then store in the fridge.
