Export 2 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
Step 2
Sieve twice.
Step 3
Keep in air tight container.
Step 4
Pour 1 2/3 cup milk into saucepan.
Step 5
Bring milk to quick boil then reduce heat.
Step 6
Add 2 tablespoon sugar (add more for more sweetness)
Step 7
Mix 2 tablespoon custard powder with 1/3 cup milk.
Step 8
Stir custard powder until all dissolves.
Step 9
Add the custard mix into hot milk.
Step 10
Stir continuously so that the custard will be smooth.
Step 11
Once the custard sauce is smooth, silky, shiny and pass the custard test (see photo above), remove from heat.
Step 12
Transfer to a heatproof bowl.
Step 13
Cover the surface with cling film to avoid "skin" forming on the custard sauce.
Step 14
Set aside to cool.
