Step 1
Heat the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Let the mixture cool a bit before adding in the lime juice.
Step 2
Mix together and pour into a glass carafe or mason jar for up to 2 weeks.
Step 3
Add 1 shot of tequila and half a shot of triple sec to a margarita glass. Add the ice and fill the rest of the glass with homemade margarita mix.
