The true beauty of making this mix is having a fresh, versatile, and easy cocktail mixer for parties. There's no reason to buy sour mix when in 10 minutes you could hand-make something that's infinitely more delicious.

DIY Sour Mix Recipe

sugar

water

lemon juice

lime juice

Make simple syrup by bringing the sugar and water to a boil, about 7 minutes. Stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and let cool.

While the syrup is cooling, strain freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice into a resealable bottle, discarding the pulp. Pour in the cooled simple syrup. Shake and use immediately or refrigerate. 

Fruity and bright, strawberry margarita punch will be a hit at your Cinco de Mayo party or summer gatherings! It&#x27;s an easy batch cocktail recipe that anyone can make!

Strawberry Margarita Punch

plata tequila ((silver

orange liqueur ((such as Cointreau or Triple Sec))

strawberry soda

simple syrup (for rim, optional)

salt or sugar (for rim, optional)

lime wedges (for garnish)

strawberries (for garnish)

Add ice to a large pitcher and pour in the tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and strawberry soda and stir to combine.

Optional: Dip the rim of the glasses in simple syrup, then in either salt or sugar.

Pour the punch into the prepared cocktail glasses over ice. Serve immediately.

Garnish with lime wedges and strawberries, if desired.

c. unsalted butter, melted

eggs

c. sugar

lime

c. lime juice

tbsp. tequila

c. all-purpose flour

Powdered sugar,

Lime wedges,

Salt,

Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9”-x-9” baking dish with parchment paper.

Make the crust: In a large bowl, mix together crushed pretzels, butter and sugar. Press into your prepared baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Place on a baking rack to cool while you make your filling.

Make filling: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, zest, lime juice, tequila and flour. Pour over crust and bake until the filling is set, 33 to 35 minutes.

Let cool, then slice and dust with powdered sugar. Top with limes wedges dipped in salt for garnish.

This summer beat heat with this easy to make spicy watermelon margarita. This watermelon-infused tequila drink is so refreshing and summer-y, you definitely want to make a big batch of it.

📋 Recipe: Spicy Watermelon Margarita

watermelon (rind removed, cubes)

lime juice (freshly squeezed)

tequila (blanco tequila

sweetener (optional (use agave nectar, honey))

Jalapenos (sliced)

ice cubes

Salt

Chili Powder

Sliced Jalapenos

Ice Cubes

Use seedless fully ripe watermelon. To make watermelon juice, slice off the ends of watermelon, remove rind from it. Cut circle slices of watermelon and them cut into cubes. Add cubes watermelon into blender and blend into a smooth juice.

If the watermelon has seeds don’t bother removing the seeds one by one. Blend it into juice along with seeds and then strain the juice using fine sieve strainer.

Strain the juice through strainer to get fine clear watermelon juice.

Prep Watermelon:

Pour watermelon juice into cocktail shaker (if you don’t have cocktail shaker, check notes below to know how to make margaritas without it). Add rest of the ingredients. Shake well for 30 seconds to 45 seconds.  You will shake margaritas with ice only before sharing.

Shake The Margarita:

Many opt for sugar coating on margarita glasses. I’m biased when it comes to margaritas. I need to have the salt rim. And this watermelon cocktail needs something little extra than plain salt. It needs the kick. After all it’s watermelon jalapenos margaritas remember?! It’s got to have the kick. So chili powder mixed with sea salt (crushed) is best way to serve this summer margarita.

Prepping Margarita Glasses:

Pour cocktail into salt and chili powder rimmed cocktail glasses. Serve with 1 or 2 cubes of ice. A slice of jalapenos and a small cut watermelon piece.

Spicy Watermelon Margarita

Recipe video above. Classic margarita! Fresh and zingy with just a touch of sweet. Crazy sugary margaritas are just wrong!!! Use recipe SCALER to make a big jug. Bonus Skinny Margarita version provided - but NOTE if you make classic margaritas the propery way (per this recipe), they only have 15 calories more than Skinny Margaritas!

Margaritas (plus SKINNY margaritas!)

tequila

ml / 1 oz lime juice

ml/ 0.5 oz Cointreau ((or other Triple Sec) (Note 1))

60 ml/ 2 ounces tequila

45 ml / 1.5 oz lime juice

ml / 1 oz orange juice

tsp light agave nectar ((Note 2))

lime wedge (, plus extra for serving)

salt

Chill glasses in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Place salt in small dish.

Rub rim lightly with lime wedge, then press rim down into salt.

Salt rim:

Place ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake 15 times to chill well.

Strain into cocktail glass or tumbler. Ice in glass is optional.

Homemade Margarita Mix

lime juice (about 10 limes)

½ shot Triple Sec

Heat the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Let the mixture cool a bit before adding in the lime juice.

Mix together and pour into a glass carafe or mason jar for up to 2 weeks.

For the Mix:

Add 1 shot of tequila and half a shot of triple sec to a margarita glass. Add the ice and fill the rest of the glass with homemade margarita mix.

For the Margarita:

Classic large batch margarita pitchers are perfect for serving a crowd! This classic version is simple and uses fresh ingredients!

Large Batch Margarita Pitchers

Tequila Blanco (White Tequila)

Cointreau

lime juice (*about 1 large lime)

Agave syrup (*Optional)

salt/sugar

½ cups Tequila Blanco (White Tequila)

Agave syrup

If serving right away, add lime juice, Cointreau, (Triple Sec), agave and tequila to a 64 oz. pitcher and stir. Top the pitcher with as much ice as you prefer along with a few lime slices.*If you don&#39;t want your margaritas watered down, wait to add ice to your pitcher!

*Optional* Prepare your margarita glasses in advance by dipping the rim in lime juice (I like to use honey) following by coarse sea salt or sugar.

Fill margarita glasses with crushed ice and garnish with a lime wedge. Pour 4 oz. of the prepared pitcher into each glass. Enjoy!

Pitcher Margaritas

Add lime juice, Cointreau, (Triple Sec), agave and tequila to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds.

*Optional* Wet the rim of your glass with lime juice or honey and dip into margarita salt.

Pour the margarita into a 4 oz. margarita glass filled with ice (preferably crushed). Garnish with lime wedge and serve cold.

Dip the rim of a double rocks glass in a small amount of water and then dip into a container filled with salt or tajin and fill with ice. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, grand marnier, passion fruit, lime, and simple syrup with a couple cubes of ice and shake vigorously. Strain into the prepared cocktail glass and garnish with a dehydrated lime slice, if desired.
