Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

Unroll half of the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish.
Step 3
Spread Dijon mustard over the dough. Layer corned beef (or pastrami) evenly, followed by slices of Swiss cheese.
Step 4
Evenly distribute the sauerkraut on top of the cheese.
Step 5
Drizzle Russian or Thousand Island dressing over the sauerkraut.
Step 6
Unroll the remaining crescent dough and place it on top, pressing the edges to seal.
Step 7
Brush melted butter on the top layer and sprinkle with caraway seeds (optional).

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Slice into squares, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
