Step 1

1 In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, raw tahini, and 1 1/2 cups of boiling water.

2 In a larger bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Pour the liquid mixture, while still hot, over the seeds. Let sit for 15 minutes.

3 Preheat oven to 340°F. Line 1 baking sheet if you like your crackers thick, and 2 baking sheets if you prefer them thin.

Step 4

4 Pour the seed mixture over the lined baking sheets. Cover with another sheet of baking paper. Using a rolling pin, spread the mixture evenly to fill the entire baking sheet. Remove the top piece of baking paper.

Step 5

5 If you have 2 baking sheets, bake for 45 minutes. If you have 1, bake it for an hour. After a 20-minute bake, take the sheets out of the oven and slice the big cracker into smaller squares using a pizza knife. If you don't mind uneven shapes, you can skip this step and break the crackers by hand after baking.

Step 6

6 Let cool for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack for 15 minutes or so.
