Preheat oven to 375˚F.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Then, mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are crisp and center is set.Optional for bakery style: Immediately after you take them out of the oven, turn a glass upside down and roll around the edges to make the cookie perfectly round with defined edges.
Step 7
Let cool 2 minutes, then transfer them to a wire cooling rack to finish cooling.
