Step 1
Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add rice and mix well making sure to coat all the rice.
Step 3
Add water and mix. Increase the heat to high to bring to a boil.

Once the water is boiling, add your salt, mix and place lid on top then reduce heat to low.
Step 5
Cook on low for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from the heat and let rest for 5 minutes with the lid still on.
Step 7
After resting, remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
Step 8
Serve immediately.
