Step 1

Combine all the Mushroom Soup Base ingredients together in a hot pot and bring to a boil on high heat. (If using storebought soup base, follow package ingredients.)

Step 2

While soup base is heating, mix together the garlic and sesame oil, and salt to taste. (See Dipping Sauce section of the guide above for some other dip options.)

Step 3

Set your hot pot ingredients of choice on the dining table. Once the soup comes to a boil, add some of the ingredients (don’t overfill the pot) and let it return to a boil. Remove the ingredients that are fully cooked to your individual bowl, leaving the rest to continue cooking. Add more ingredients. While the food in the pot is boiling, you can eat the portion in your bowl, pairing with dipping sauce if desired. Repeat until you’re stuffed!
