Step 1

Muddle the blackberries in the shaker to release their juice and flavor.

Step 2

Add the vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, simple syrup, and a good amount of ice.

Step 3

Shake it all up until it's well mixed and chilled.

Step 4

Strain it into your chilled martini glass.

Step 5

Garnish with a lemon twist and a couple of blackberries on top.
