Step 1

Wash the beets well and chop them into 4-8 pieces, depending on their size (small enough to fit your juicer chute).

Step 2

Feed the beets through the juicer chute and let the machine do all the work.

Step 3

Wash the beets well. Chop them down into several pieces (4 or 8, depending on their size).

Step 4

Transfer them to the blender with a 1/4-1/3 cup of water (use the smallest amount first and increase if needed).

Step 5

Blend the beets and water until smooth and juicy.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture to a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer layered with cheesecloth to strain the juice from the pulp.Note that beet juice STAINS, so use materials you don’t mind staining permanently.

Step 7

Store: I recommend consuming homemade beet juice immediately for maximum nutrients and freshness. However, any leftovers will store in a covered bottle/ jar in the fridge for a further 1-2 days.Freeze: You can freeze the beets detox juice for 3 months in Ziplock bags, freezer-safe jars, or ice cube trays (depending on the material, expect staining), depending on the portion sizes. Allow it to thaw in the fridge overnight before enjoying.
