Italian Sub Sandwich

mayonnaise

French baguette (sliced horizontally)

½ lb deli ham (thinly sliced)

¼ lb salami (thinly sliced, such as Genoa salami)

mortadella

oz Provolone cheese (sliced)

romaine lettuce (shredded)

tomatoes (sliced)

½ medium red onion (thinly sliced)

banana peppers

Italian Dressing

Prep the bread:

Prep the bread: Spread the mayonnaise on bottom half of the baguette.

Assemble:

Assemble: Layer half the cheese slices on the bottom, the meats, the other half of cheese slices, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, banana peppers and drizzle with Italian dressing.

Finish:

Finish: Cover with the top half of the baguette and cut into 4 (or 6) equal pieces.
