This was my very first recipe video that went viral! I think it&#39;s because this Japanese butter rice is incredibly delicious and unbelievably easy to make. It has been almost a year since I posted this video, and people are still leaving comments telling me that they have been eating Japanese butter rice EVERY SINGLE DAY since then!

Japanese Butter Rice

rice

Unsalted butter

tbsp Light soy sauce

Sushi nori

Pork floss ((AKA "Rousong"))

Potato chips (Optional)

Place hot steamed rice in a small bowl. Dig a hole in the middle.

Put 1 tbsp butter in the hole, bury it up with rice.

Drizzle 1 tbsp light soy sauce over the top of rice.

Use a pair of clean scissors to shred 1/4 sheet of sushi nori. Sprinkle the shredded nori over the rice.

Top with pork floss or crushed potato chips.

Mix well and serve.
