Cut string cheese in half crosswise.

Step 2

Beat egg in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 3

Combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, coconut flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a zipper sandwich bag. Shake to blend.

Step 4

Dip each piece of mozzarella into the beaten egg, then coat by shaking in the sandwich bag. Freeze for at least one hour.

Step 5

Heat oil in a small frying pan to at least half inch high, maintaining a temperature of about 325-375°F.

Step 6

Cook each coated piece of mozzarella in the hot oil until browned on all sides. Enjoy the crispy goodness!
