The Keto Rumchata is a low carb take on the Rumchata, which a rum drink with the wonderful flavors of Horchata. This Keto Rumchata is refreshing, dead simple, and absolutely delicious. Even though it has dairy, it makes for an amazing warm weather cocktail that everyone will ask for!

Keto Rumchata

oz (59 milliliters) Unsweetened Almond Milk

oz (59 milliliters) white rum

1.5 oz (44 milliliters) Keto Simple Syrup

tsp (7 milliliters) heavy cream

cinnamon

vanilla extract

salt

nutmeg (optional)

In a shaker glass add the almond milk,...

In a shaker glass add the almond milk, simple syrup, heavy cream, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg, salt, and rum.

Add ice and shake for ten seconds

Strain into a highball glass over ice.

Keto Rumchata is a delicious adult beverage made in the spirit of horchata. But, horchata and rumchata are NOT keto or low-carb friendly. So, I made a version that IS keto and low-carb friendly. When someone who doesn't like rumchata or dairy like cocktails tried it, they simply said 'wow!'

You can drink this rumchata neat, on the rocks, in coffee, or with other cocktails. And if you like - you can even leave out the rum and enjoy a... 'chada'!

INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 2 oz white rum

- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- dash of ground nutmeg
- pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS
1. In a shaker glass add the almond milk, simple syrup, heavy cream, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg, salt, and rum.
2. Add ice and shake for 10 seconds.
