To make the cakes: Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line 2 slice tins.

Cream butter and sugar until white and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and continue to beat. Fold in flour and milk, alternating between the two. Pour into slice tins and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool cake before assembling cake balls.
Step 3
To make the cake balls: Process cake into crumbs. Whisk hot chocolate drinking powder with one cup of water. In a large bowl, combine cake crumbs, jam and chocolate liquid. Squeezing together to form a solid mass. If the mix is excessively wet add some coconut until it holds.
Step 4
Portion out mix into 30g balls. Roll in coconut. Chill in refrigerator until firm.
