Step 1
Place sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat for 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Cool completely.
Step 2
Combine sugar syrup, ginger beer, tequila, lime juice, mint, lime slices and ice in a large jug. Place chilli halves in serving glasses. Pour over punch. Serve.
