Step 1

Pre heat broiler to low setting.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with foil and grease with oil/cooking spray.

Step 3

In a bowl, whisk together sugar, water, miso, and shoyu until well combined.

Step 4

Lay fish on baking sheet with skin side down (if using fish with skin)

Step 5

Spoon the miso mixture over the fish.

Step 6

Broil 7-10 minutes or until salmon flakes easily.

Step 7

Baste twice during the cooking process.
