6 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless4 cups long grain rice, uncooked1 284 milliliters can cream of mushroom soup1 284 milliliters can cream of celery soup1 284 milliliters can cold water1 tsp parsley1/2 tsp curry powder1 envelope onion soup mixfresh parsley, chopped, for garnish, if desired

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450F. Grease a 9x13 casserole dish.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, stir together rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, water, parsley and curry powder. Spread on the bottom of the casserole dish.

Step 3

Place chicken breasts on top of rice mixture.

Step 4

Sprinkle onion soup mix on top of chicken breasts.

Step 5

Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 2.5 hours. No peeking!

Step 6

Sprinkle on fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
