Step 1
Using a sharp knife, cut each biscuit into quarters. Set aside.
Step 2
Place tater tots on the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Step 3
Top tots with cooked sausage, bell peppers, biscuit chunks, cheese, bacon and green onion.
Step 4
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half and seasonings. Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
Step 5
Cover casserole tightly with saran wrap and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
Step 6
Preheat oven to 350 °F
Step 7
While is oven is preheating, remove the chilled casserole from the refrigerator so it is not so cold going into the oven.
Step 8
Bake casserole for 50-55 minutes or until eggs are cooked through, especially in the middle of the casserole. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
