Export 9 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add all of the ingredients up to the salt into a food processor and run until uniform.
Step 2
Add in the dates, maple syrup, vanilla extract and 3 tablespoons of water and run until a dough-like consistency is reached. To test if there is enough moisture, squeeze together a bit of the mixture in between your fingers. If it sticks together it is ready to go, and if not, add about 2 more tablespoons of water.
Step 3
Press the dough into a small dish (we used a glass dish of 11x8x4″) and flatten out as evenly as possible. Place into the refrigerator to set for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars. We cut ours into 7 (11 x 1 x 1 inch) bars.
