Anonymous · 8 hours ago Awesome product My horses were suffering from losing weight, skinny top line, coats were dull and low energy. All my horses are 21+age. You can't tell today because of this wonderful product. My horses don't leave a morsel behind. My dog will even help clean up any crumbs I drop. This product has made great improvements for my horses and I am glad my friend recommended it to me. Review photo 1. Photo This action will open a modal dialog. Jennifer · 10 hours ago Perfect for Aging Horses I had three horses and was struggling with what to feed my two older horses, especially since the oldest was exceptionally picky! My feed store lady recommended I try Pro Elite Senior. I was a bit skeptical since I had tried other senior feeds without success; however, with Pro Elite, my old guy not only loved the feed but also began to get some “pep in his step” once again! Now that he’s gone, I continue it with my two other horses who are now seniors. My Guys Photo This action will open a modal dialog. My senior gelding Major, started dropping weight for the first time over the past few months. After toying with different feeds and weigh gainers, I felt I was at a loss, and was going to have to make a choice for my boy this winter. His bloodwork was beautiful, fecal was negative, teeth floated….. he was wasting away. Someone suggested ProElite senior as a complete feed for him (I had used it in the past for “bribes” for a horse I fostered short-term), and it has made a world of difference in just a few weeks. It’s easy for him to digest, he loves it, and I’m beyond thrilled to see progress in his weight maintenece! I truly believe this feed is saving his life! Am I burning through a lot of it, yes. Haha. But it is worth it . Major ready for breakfast! Photo This action will open a modal dialog. Rachel · a day ago Barn full of horses look great I am a barn manager, when we took over a barn of 20 horses 3 years ago we revamped the feeding program. There was a range of horses from young horses to 30 year Olds, from retired to third level dressage horses. The older horses were hard to keep weight on with dull coats and my own dressage horse just lacked muscle and energy. We decided to switch to proelite senior, and within a few months the seniors were filled out and shiny and we were able to feed less food. We continue to use this feed for the past 3 years and everyone is in great body condition. After doing some research, I decided to give it a try. I like that it had a lot of people in it for fiber. The feed itself is really soft in comparison to other brands of equine senior. My older horse, who I normally have to put his grain in a food processor to make it into a powder is able to chew this stuff. It’s not a tightly bound pallet. It’s definitely easy to chew for those horses that are missing back teeth. I like that it’s highly palatable. I gave a little bit to my other horses and every single horse ate it. It has a high fat content he doesn’t process he well since his back molars are expired. I feed him 10 pounds of Pro Elite a day and he is on a grass pasture with alfalfa 24/7. But he struggles to chew dry hay. He has held weight phenomenally on the equine senior, and has a shiny hair coat and a perky attitude. I’m thrilled to have found an equine senior grain that is truly easy to chew! Side note, he was a rescue and very under weight when I bought him. I’ll include pictures of his transformation that pro elite senior helped us with! The day I bought him. Photo This action will open a modal dialog.
