Step 1

Bake puff pastry according to package directions; cool completely. Cut pastry in half lengthwise; cut each half into 3 sections; set aside.

Step 2

Combine whipped topping and vanilla pudding in a medium bowl. Layer pastry sections with pudding mixture and sliced strawberries; repeat to create 3 layers. Sprinkle top layer with powdered sugar and drizzle with melted dark chocolate. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries, if desired.
