Place the bacon in a large non stick skillet until done. Crumble the bacon and set it aside.Remove all the bacon drippings from the pan except 1/4 cup.Add the hash browns, bacon, onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper and garlic powder. Cook and stir over medium heat until the hash browns are golden brown, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle the hash browns with grated cheese. Using the back of a large spoon make 6 indentations in the hash browns. Break one egg in each indentation. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook about 3 -5 minutes or until eggs are set. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
