This simple six-ingredient southern sauce will quickly become one of your favorites. Try it on panko-breaded shrimp, beer-battered onion rings, and buffalo wings.  One taste and you will be hooked.

Southern Comeback Sauce

mayonnaise (I prefer Dukes)

chili sauce

ketchup

Worcestershire Sauce

onion powder

garlic powder

paprika

honey

Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper

In a medium bowl and whisk together mayonnaise, chili sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and honey. Season with kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to let the flavors blend together.

Want to update you.  Came home today and my hubby had mixed up some comeback sauce.  I didn't act quickly enough when he requested it, so he forged ahead on his own.  He actually found a recipe that is almost identical to your's (I compared them) but it wasn't!!  As soon as I tasted it I knew what it lacked, the honey.  As soon as I added it, we were both happy.  I am proud of him for his efforts.  I'll have to show him how to get to my saved recipes.  Your's is the best of all recipes just like it is!

I can't say enough about this phenomenal sauce.  My husband is literally addicted and we use it as a dip.  I'm actually having to double the recipe it goes so quickly....and we haven't even had it on burgers or sandwiches yet.  Its. better than any sauce we've ever had.  I love your recipes.  I'm making your Cajun Dirty Rice tonight with your homemade Cajun spice MX.  I'm going to search your site now to see if you have a white dip (no cheese) like they serve at Mexican restaurants.

Ok seriously this sauce needs to be bottled up and sold! SO GOOD! I love it!

My family and I tried this sauce tonight with some onion rings and it was a hit! Super easy to make! I also added a little bit of cajun seasoning for an extra kick!
