This smoothie is also known as Berry Blastoff.  If you're looking for a lower glycemic option, this smoothie is low in sugar and high in fiber, both of which are great for keeping blood sugar levels more stable. Free free to swap the banana with 1/2 avocado if you want to cut the fruit sugars even more.

Berry smoothies usually have a tart taste that I don't love... yet this recipe is so creamy, sweet and rich. It's always a winner in my house and I love that it's part of the 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge.

Forgot to leave my rating in my comment.  I give this one a 5.  I made it with just strawberries and it is not too sweet.

Simple and delicious! I used a strawberry-blueberry-cherry blend and it was perfect. Sweet and fruity. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t have that beautiful fresh green color ... hazards of adding berries to your green smoothie! But the great taste more than makes up for the brownish color.

Amazing flavor and it feels so good in your body!!

This is going to become a staple smoothie in my house! So delicious.

I like to add a little PB2 powder to this one and get some added protein after a run!

A simple straight to the point smoothie. I had blueberries instead of berries as they were what I had at home. I need to get some riper bananas for next week as that would improve the taste of these smoothies for sure.

I used kale instead of spinach, frozen blueberries and raspberries and since my banana was quite green I added a bit of raw organic honey. Very tasty!

I have a cherry berry blend that I love to use with this smoothie. It’s such a treat with the berries and banana. I love it because I can use any greens and it always tastes amazing. Yay for antioxidants!

I am loving this challenge, the recipes are easy and delicious! I love this smoothie, how can you go wrong with berries?

Well my first thought is that it is so pretty!  Not kinda muddy looking...and equally delicious!

It was definitely berry-packed, but despite my love of berries, this one wasn't my favorite so far. Maybe it was all the seeds, or maybe because it was less sweet because I swapped the banana for avocado. Whatever the case, I'm not stopping! :)

Very tasty smoothie! I used blueberries and strawberries for my berries and thought it had a great flavor with just the right amount of sweetness.

I added some protein to this for breakfast. Delish!

I loved this smoothie!  The fact that it had mixed berries made it one of my favorites this week, since any berrybia my favorite.  The color was more brown than green, but who cares!  

Mixed berries are not my favorite. But this smoothie is good. I think I’d like it better with almond milk, to make it creamy.

I think this one was my favorite for this week!  I made mine using dewberries picked from my yard mixed with strawberries. So good!

Tasty! I was a little sad that there was no almond milk like yesterday, but once I took a sip I remembered the water-based ones aren’t bad either 

It was good, but a little watery. I think I’d like it better with almond milk.

Taste wise, this smoothie is exactly what I think of when I think of a smoothie. Fruity, creamy, delicious.

I've come back to this recipe OVER and OVER! It's super satisfying and the berries boost the antioxidants which are more and more important to our skin as we age.

I messed this one up. For some reason I added oranges. It wasn’t bad just not what I was expecting

Both easy and delicious.  Today, I used frozen tropical fruits. Yum! If I use fresh fruit, I replace the water with 1 1/2 cups ice.

I made this smoothie with kale, as I ate all of the spinach. I used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. I used green tea in place of plain water and a banana. This smoothie is so good.  Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

I skipped the banana. Had baby kale/spinach mix on hand. Used half water, half almond milk for the 1 c. of liquid. Added 2 tsp. of pili nut yogurt. AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. This is a great go-to recipe that is very forgiving if you don't have exact items on hand. The *key* is the first step: blending the greens and liquid #chef'skiss
