Step 1

Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish well.

Step 2

Toss the bread cubes with the cinnamon and nutmeg.

Step 3

Whisk together all of the other ingredients, EXCEPT the strawberry Jam.

Step 4

Place half the bread cubes in the bottom of the baking dish and over the surface, add about 9-12 dollops (1/2 cup) of good quality Strawberry jam

Step 5

Top with the remaining half of the bread cubes and sprinkle with another 9-12 dollops of strawberry jam.

Step 6

Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes, pressing down slightly to make sure all the cubes are soaked. If time permits, let it sit in the fridge for an hour before baking.

Step 7

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45-50 minutes until the custard is set and no longer liquid in the center.

Step 8

Let the bread pudding stand for about 20 minutes before serving.
