Step 1

Place the water, brown sugar substitute, confectioners sugar substitute and cinnamon sticks into a saucepan over medium high heat on the stove.

Step 2

Whisk to combine, and heat until just before boiling. The mixture should thicken enough to lightly coat the back of a spoon that is dipped into it.

Step 3

Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 4

Let the mixture sit for 1 hour to thicken.

Step 5

Remove the cinnamon sticks and store the mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.
