Step 1
Start making your tempeh BLT by preparing your tempeh slices. Rub or spray a little oil on each piece of tempeh (if desired) for a more crispy finish.

If you want your tempeh air-fried, place tempeh pieces (not touching each other) on a lined air fryer tray and air fry at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes or until cooked to your liking. The result should be slightly crispy on the outside but not burnt.

If you want to cook on a non-stick frying pan, just cook based on package directions.

Meanwhile, toast slices of bread, wash and prepare tomato and lettuce.

Next, add vegan mayonnaise on each slice of bread, add lettuce, tomato and the fried tempeh bacon. Close up the sandwich and enjoy!
