In large saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat.

Add onions and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 4
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, hot pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
Step 5
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
