I think she is talking about the Jose Cuervo pineapple margarita mix 

I did not like the tequila and pineapple combo.

I followed the recipe to a tee..sounded good but was not for me:(

made as written/no changes. It was eh boring. Not a keeper for me.

This was easy, refreshing and really good.  I have to wonder if there was a typo when this was first posted.  I cannot see anyway anyone could have read pinapple tequilla in this recipe, let alone two people.  

Very good and I don't understand how reviewers thought the recipe said pineapple tequila.

went to 4 liquor stores. no one ever heard of it. tried plain tequilla and i didn''t think it was that good. i am sure the pineapple tequilla would have made the difference.
