Step 1

Preheat oven 400 degrees F. Spray and lightly brush baking sheet covered with parchment paper with oil. Set aside.

Step 2

Place walnuts in a food processor and process until finely ground.

Step 3

Add the remaining ingredients, breadcrumbs, mashed tofu, Bragg’s Liquid amino acid, nutritional yeast flakes, tapioca starch, onion powder, garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, fennel, and sage.

Step 4

Process until a smooth thick batter is formed.

Step 5

Divide the sausage batter into 12 equal pieces and form it into patties.

Step 6

Place sausage patties on the prepared baking sheet., brush lightly with l Bake for 30 minutes, turning over patties half week during cooking.

Step 7

Place oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Flip them and cook them for another 3 minutes. Serve immediately
