Step 1
Cream the butter, salt and sugar together. Add the beaten eggs and mix.
Step 2
Sift in the self raising flour, alternating with the milk until all is added.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a greased 26 cm x 16 cm pie dish.
Step 4
Bake at 180C for 40 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from oven, and spread Vegemite carefully over the hot cake. Pour the melted butter over the cake.
Step 6
Sprinkle grated cheese evenly on top.
Step 7
Put the cake back in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese has melted.
