Step 1

Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and season lightly with kosher salt. Line a small baking dish or oven safe skillet with parchment paper for easy clean up, and place salmon filet on top of the parchment. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, rice vinegar, honey, hot sauce (if using), sesame oil, grated garlic, grated ginger, and sesame seeds until well combined. Add the cut green onions and stir once more.

Step 3

Pour the sauce over the salmon. Transfer to the oven and bake for 15-17 minutes, stopping about halfway through to spoon the glaze over the top. Remove from the oven and increase the heat to 450 degrees F. Spoon the glaze over the salmon once more and return to the oven for another 3-5 minutes, until cooked through and starting to caramelize.

Step 4

Garnish with some additional sesame seeds and thinly sliced onions if desired. Serve and enjoy!
