2 cups water6 ounces lime Jello ((6 ounces))6 ounces cream cheese ((softened))2 cups 7up soda1 package Dream Whip ((prepared according to package directions))8 ounces crushed pineapple, drained ((1 small can))

Step 1

Heat the water to boiling in the microwave or on the stovetop.

Step 2

Dissolve the jello in the boiling water. Stir well.

Step 3

Add the softened cream cheese to the hot Jello. Use a hand mixer to mix until the cream cheese has melted in.

Step 4

Add the 7up and stir.

Step 5

Chill for 60-90 minutes or until partially set.

Step 6

Prepare Dream Whip according to the package directions.

Step 7

Mix the Dream Whip into the Jello.

Step 8

Stir in the drained pineapple.

Step 9

Pour into a 3 quart baking dish and chill until firm (at least 3 hours, depending on pan size and depth).

Step 10

Top with whipped cream and a cherry when serving.
