Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined and smooth.
Step 2
In a separate small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until evenly combined.
Step 3
Pour half of the cake batter into the bottom of a greased air fryer-safe baking pan or dish. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon sugar mixture.
Step 4
Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cinnamon sugar mixture into the cake batter, creating a marbled effect.
Step 5
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the cake batter if desired, for added crunch and flavor.
Step 6
Place the baking pan or dish into the preheated air fryer basket. Air fry the cake at 325°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7
Once the cake is cooked through, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool slightly. Dust the top of the cake with confectioners' sugar for a sweet finish. If desired, drizzle with vanilla glaze before serving.
