Step 1

Cut the beef into thin strips of 1/4 inch thick and 1 1/2 inch wide and 3 inches long.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine oil, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Now add garlic, salt, pepper, shallots, and fish sauce. Mix all the ingredients well.

Step 3

Now add meat stripes and coat the marinade on the stripes. Use your hands to press the mixture into the stripes. Cover and marinate it for 1 hour at room temperature.

Step 4

In the meanwhile, prepare the Banh Hoi noodles. Cut the noodles into playing card-sized pieces with the help of a scissor. Arrange them in a platter and top with scallion oil to keep from drying.

Step 5

Soak the skewers for 15-20 minutes in water and arrange the meat slices on the soaked skewers. You can grill the slices as an individual.Cook the meat slices for 5-7 minutes until brown, while turning frequently.

Step 6

Prepare a salad platter by arranging the green lettuce, Springs cilantro, red perilla, cucumber, and mint and place it on the table.

Step 7

Put the dipping sauce in a bowl and arrange it on the table.

Step 8

Arrange the grilled slices on a platter, whether on skewers or remove from the skewers and serve with salad and dipping sauce.
