Combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper and set aside. Pat salmon fillets dry. Brush fillets all over with oil; sprinkle with salt. Coat flesh sides with BBQ rub. Push soaked skewers through salmon lengthwise; place, skin side down, on grill. Cover; cook without turning over 14 minutes or until just opaque. With metal spatula, scrape fillets from grill. If skin sticks to grate, remove fillet only.
