Ingredients: 4 cloves garlic, minced; 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened; 1 baguette or French bread, cut lengthwise; 1/2 tsp. kosher salt; 2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley; 1/4 c. grated Parmesan

The secret to really good garlic bread is to keep it simple. And to use a lot of garlic—4 cloves for one loaf! This recipe is the perfect side for our Spaghetti Bolognese﻿...or really any Italian pasta dinner﻿.

tbsp. parsley

c. grated Parmesan

Do you buy your baguettes from the bakery or from the supermarket?

Make sure not to use 1/2 a teaspoon of salt. It’s way to salty. Just use 1/4 teaspoon

Absolutely Awesome!
I saw the recipe and had to make it.  I softened the butter in the microwave and mixed everything up in the same pyrex measuring cup.  I substituted dehydrated parsley, and let it rest in the butter for awhile before I spread it.  The garlic smelled very strong while cooking.  My wife is not a huge parmesan fan so I used about a tablespoon of grated.  It all came together beautifully.  There is no substitute for fresh garlic instead of powders and salts.  We only ate half of it for dinner.  We are going to put shredded mozzarella on the other half and put it under the broiler for a late night date night snack.  Enjoy!

AMAZING!  I will only make it this way from now on! No parsley so I added sprinkles of oregano. Used squeezable minced garlic too.

Everyone loved this garlic bread. I would either reduce the kosher salt or eliminate it entirely. The parmesan cheese added enough salty flavor to the mix for our taste.

Amazing!  I made it and my family loved it!!!  Nice and crispy and very tasty.  I replaced the salt with Adobo Seasoning and I also added onion powder and the dry chopped onion flakes.  Add a good amount of parmasan cheese!  I basically did the seasonings without the measurements, I just like to go my own way until I know it's a good amount for flavor.  Seasonings is key! :)

I was looking for a side to chilled cucumber soup, and I think I've found it!!! Going to serve with the soup and I'm putting avacado on the bread. Haven't tryed it yet but I'm excited!!!

Great recipe I did use dried Parsley and roasted garlic. Will make again.

This was absolutely delish (get it) and it was gone within minutes. I reduced the salt to 1/4 of a cup and it was delicious. (I would also put extra parm on for extra flavor)

I've made this several times now and it is way better than anything I pay more for in the frozen department at the grocery store.  I'm saving money, avoiding artificial ingredients and enjoying the flavors and textures of fresh made garlic bread. My entire family is happy!

I made this tonight and it turned out awesome! Even my picky kids ate it! Definitely will be making this again. :)
