Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray; set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and onions are just soft; about 5 minutes. Drain excess grease. Add the garlic and cook another minute, until fragrant.

Step 3

Stir in the marinara and beef broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Meanwhile, steam the vegetables in the microwave according to package directions. Remove skillet from the heat and stir in the vegetables with 1 1/2 cups of the mozzarella cheese and 1/3 cup of Parmesan. Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish.

Step 5

Remove biscuits from packaging. Split each biscuit in half. Arrange biscuits around edge of dish, overlapping slightly. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella in center of casserole. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until biscuits are cooked through and golden brown.

Step 6

Remove from oven, brush biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
