In a mixing bowl combine the breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, carrot, parsley, lentils, spices, seasoning and Worcestershire. Mix well to combine.

Add the mince and using your hands squeeze together to incorporate together well. Form 4 burgers and rest in the fridge to chill for 30-60 minutes.

In a frypan or BBQ grill heat the olive oil over a moderate heat. Add the burgers and cook to your liking.

Mince the garlic, 5 seconds, speed Add the halved onion, carrot (chunks) and parsley leaves. Grate 10 seconds, speed 5.
Step 5
Add in the breadcrumbs, lentils, spices, seasoning and Worcestershire. Mix Reverse, 20 seconds, speed 4, using the spatular through the lid to assist in mixing.
Step 6
Tip into a large bowl and add the mince. Use your hands to incorporate together well. I still use my hands for this step so I can make the burgers nice and firm. Form 4 burgers and rest in the fridge to chill for 30-60 minutes.
Step 7
In a frypan heat the olive oil over a moderate heat. Add the burgers and cook to your liking.
Step 8
Assemble in the burger buns with your favourite add ons.
Step 9
Re-heat in a low oven until just hot.
Step 10
Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
