Carrot-Orange Juice

yellow tomato,

orange,

apple,

carrots,

Ice cubes (optional)

Working in this order, process tomato, orange, apple and carrots through a juicer according to the manufacturer's directions. (No juicer? See Tip.)


Fill 2 glasses with ice, if desired, and pour the juice into the glasses. Serve immediately.


I will make this recipe with the blender and NOT strain it.  I used to have a juicer, but tossed it into the good will because it hit me that I was throwing out the pulp, which is fiber!!My mantra now is "eat it the way it grows" and don't drink strained juice.

Excellent taste
I usually make my morning juice with just apples and carrots.  I found this recipe made a good drink just better!  I did use a red tomato.
Pros: Easy
Cons: no yellow tomatoes in winter!
