Step 1

Place peanut butter and vanilla in a large bowl. Set aside.

Step 2

Butter an 8x8x2 dish and set aside.

Step 3

Mix sugar, cocoa and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil rapidly for exactly one minute.

Step 4

Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter and vanilla. Beat with spoon until thick. As soon as the chocolate mixture is mixed well with the peanut butter mixture, pour into buttered pan. Cut into squares when cool.
