Step 1

Preheat oven to 210°C. Brush four 250ml (1-cup) ramekins or ovenproof dishes with the melted butter to lightly grease. Sift the flour and cocoa into a medium bowl. Stir in the sugar and make a well in the centre.

Step 2

Whisk milk, butter and egg in a jug until well combined. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Spoon mixture evenly into greased ramekins. Sprinkle grated chocolate over top.

Step 3

Place the ramekins on a baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the puddings comes out clean. Serve immediately with the cream.
