Export 9 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x5x3” loaf pan (or a similar size) with a little bit of butter then coat the bottom and sides of the pan with sugar (I used roughly 1 tablespoon sugar for this). with butter and coat it with sugar.
Step 2
In the bowl of a stand mixer or in a large bowl with a hand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar. Add in the bananas, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and baking soda and mix well.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, sift together the baking soda, flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the blueberries by hand. Pour into the prepared pan.
Step 4
Combine all the ingredients for the cinnamon crumb topping in a large bowl. Spread the crumbled (using your hands is easiest) mixture overtop the batter.
Step 5
Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick/knife comes out clean. The edges should be dark brown and the crumble should be lightly golden. Sprinkle additional confectioners sugar over top if desired! Cool completely before removing the loaf from the pan and slicing.
