Step 1
Heat oil in large heavy based saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, celery and carrot. Cook, stirring for about 5 minutes or until softened.
Step 2
Increase to high. Add Italian sausage meat and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to make sure it’s broken up well, for 5-7 minutes or until brown.
Step 3
Add pasta to a pot of salted boiling water. Cook for 2 minutes less than the packet instructions.
Step 4
Add garlic to the sausage, cook stirring for 2 minutes then add wine and reduce until boiling, approx. 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add passata, oregano and Continental Stock Pot Sensations. Cook stirring for 3-4 minutes.
Step 6
Add milk and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes until the milk changes the texture of the sauce and binds everything together.
Step 7
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir until well coated with sauce. Stir in parmesan and season to taste with pepper.
Step 8
Divide among serving bowls and top with parmesan and some basil.
